Healthiest barbecue sauce?

I’ve been making chow mein with teriyaki sauce, boneless skinless chicken breast, veggies, and whole wheat noodles.

I’d like to stop using anything with soy, so I was wondering what the healthiest barbecue sauce is. It might not taste as good as Teriyaki sauce, but I’m willing to try it and see how it tastes.

Probably best to make it yourself. Everything in the stores in the sauce aisle has SEED OILS in it now.

The one you make yourself

Tried one the other day; canned tomatoes, smoked paprika, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, fresh garlic, minced onion, a little honey, and cheated with some tomato paste. Pretty good, get the ratios of everything right and it can either have more of a spice kick or be a bit sweeter. Add bourbon if you want, done that in the past and it was pretty good too.

I bought some Kinder’s barbecue sauce from Costco recently, and was pleased with the results. It tasted just as good with chicken chow mein as teriyaki sauce.
