online shopping for clothes is the worst way to shop

Went shopping today for a sweater and got to test and feel the clothes I was buying in person which dictated my buying decision. I don't see how anyone can buy clothes online without seeing and feeling it in person lol

Should be a shopping app which allows you to scan yourself with your phone and record your real size. Then clothing stores can offer the sizes that actually fit you. Also bespoke clothing stores could leverage cheap labour from Bangladesh or whatever to tailor entire wardrobes that fit perfectly.

I think this is something that will be pretty ubiquitous by 2035 or 2040.

It's a lot more fun shopping for almost anything in person

you can't get a feel for the way it looks and how hefty it is unless you see it in person.

had to return some items today because the shirt I bought felt like it was a rerack after someone had worn it.

The shirt looked dingy and kinda worn. The smell was also the dead giveaway since it didn't have that new smellz anymore.

Had to exchange it for a new one.

My arms are so big I have to cut the sleeves off my shirts

I've goofed big time ordering expensive clothes online only to hate it when it finally got delivered
