Weekly training videos (Deadlift 315x6, etc.)
What's happening, Miscers?
We're back!
Here's a couple training videos from this week.
Bodyweight is down to 200 lb, so that's -192 lb.
Let's see what happens here. Is there a code to embed on this forum or what?

How many sets of deadlifts did you do? I've been trying to increase my deadlift volume and it's been really tough. 2 sets seems to be the most I can handle
I hit an upper body workout today. Bench, t-bar row, incline db, jm press and a couple other things. Just did top set back off for everything
275 on bench felt like nothing today
Embedding videos works the same for me as it did on misc

Now that I'm smaller and in good shape, I can do so much volume my old self would have thought impossible.
I'm still using light weights, so keep that in mind, and I'm going to work up slowly.
That particular back workout was:
Deadlift
245x5
315x6
Deficit Deadlift
245 x3x3
DB Rows 3x12
Wide Grip Pulldown 3x12
Cable Pullovers 3x15
Weighted Back Raise 3x15

Ok that's really not much actual hard deadlifting. I'm used to just doing one set of deadlifts. It might be just a cardio issue though on my part. I haven't really done any cardio for a year lol.

In a commercial gym, you probably have access to a military bench that only goes up to your mid back. So you can lean your upper back over the top of it, press straight up, and not worry about hitting your face. I’m using an incline bench with an upright angle. Your head gets in the way lol, and if you press in a straight line, you hit yourself in the chin or the nose. Doesn’t feel good.
So I turn my head to get it off the center line.

I figured that was it. Tne one at my gym is a vertical seat but doesn't go up all the way to my neck so I can just tilt my head back. I prefer a 75-80 degree incline but I'm gonna this a try for a while.
