I remember a time where if you posted some chit and left the thread it would be lost on another page in a matter of minutes. The search function sucked so good luck ever finding it again. If it was a decent topic I wanted to follow I pretty much had to leave a tab open with that thread open all the time.

With a smaller community which is what we have right now there aren't going to be as many threads. Posting activity will be centralized into a smaller number of threads that go on for longer.

If we can grow the community then there will just naturally be more threads. More people = more life experiences, more things to talk about, more thread ideas.
