Boomer here and went to college there (FAU) in the 90's. Remember in 95, they made us put up matresses etc against windows. Was some sort of record at the time with 7 of them coming in at once. Noone really cared tho, and instead of water ppl bought beer.

Global warming is making extreme events slightly more likely in theory, but it's a different thing. The association is pretty weak. Extreme events just happen and are a big deal. There is no conspiracy around it lmao. It's a hurricane.

They pushed global cooling in the 70's first before global warming, when it was global cooling was that beneficial then to eliminating extreme weather events? If so we need to get back to that global cooling that was caused by humans.
