Whoever the mod is who handed me my one and only ban. Probably redraider. I forget the thread but LargePeter said some cheeky chit and I replied with a gif of the 20th century Fox logo, but instead it said “kill yourself phaggot” lol. A couple days later I did a month in camp. 

LargePeter wasn’t even mad. We’re cool, were before and still are srs I remember he repped me after I got back. It was just some phaggot butthurt mod with no sense of humor. Sadly a lot of mods didn’t understand the spirit of the misc.

I remember a lot of the old mods were cops, or ex-cops and they would treat the userbase like trash. They'd ban and neg people over the pettiest things, and go forbid you ever stood up to them, they'd perma you.

Then userbase took a nosedive and those guys disappeared, and it seemed like whoever was left modding in the background was pretty chill.

I remember when I first joined in 2007 I caught a ban just for responding to a thread that was apparently against the rules. I don't remember which mod it was. I think it was an Asian guy.

idk they hid in the shadows and ban & delete . red rider or what ever was famous for banning .

i caught several ip bans as well from one of them which last i checked where actively still in placed ,
mod or mods where still banning users right up to closing . i dont go out of my way to attack a mod though i show them some respect but i do question when they keep banning deleting right up to closing of the forum that was pathetic which ever mod was doing that

Mods should just stick to deleting spam and banning actually disruptive posters, like people spamming gore and gay porn, or things that might ruin the forum.

Yes this was true.

You could tell they were all huge phaggots because the second they lost their mod power they disappeared

I had to get forumadmin or other not completely gay mods to undo bans from vapump pretty regularly. He'd talk a bunch of shit and then ban anyone who spoke back for "trash talking mods". But yeah the group of LEO mods back in that era were annoying af.
