Mountain Biking Thead

Any other mountain bikers on nu-misc? Currently running an Ibis Ripley, while its a bit short in travel, it is for sure fun to run on rowdy trails. Pretty much stock, Ill upgrade things as they break but for the most part this bike is solid AF. What are you riding?

bumping this since numisc doubled in size. Going for a ride later today once it cools down a bit.

17 a day ,sometimes 2 ,mostly one

I'm old so ,arthritis in spine, if i do pull ups then 17 miles next day my whole body hurts so

I go by how I feel

I used to ride a lot. Bought a 29r years ago and hated hill climbs with it. It's just hanging in my garage.

I have an ebike that I love. I feel like other bikers on the trail hate me though

I have a trek marlin 6, new to the sport.

I've had trouble with two sets of brakes they gave me, first one tektro next one shimano.

Pain in the fucking ass constantly returning bike back due to problems with leaking oil.

Only hate you if you rip past us on the uphill without being courteous about it. Otherwise, ride on brotha

Damn sorry to hear you are having issues. Don't let this beat you down, it's a fun sport (?) And is well worth the effort.

Yeah I've never had an issue with anyone irl, not even a dirty look, I just see a lot of hate about it online. I always try to be courteous to everyone around me.
