The problem with that forum post linking all the misc alternatives is there were TOO MANY alternatives listed!

How do we prevent this forum from dying though brahs? Idk if even half of the misc regulars are even aware of its existence, and there’s going to be basically no traffic because it has no connection to a larger site like bb.com

Well a permanent solution needs to happen, not a bunch of half measures. No knocks against the admin for putting this up. Once a Vbulletin is setup, just send every aware brah a message about it. Ask them to spread the word. Post on discords, reddit, ect. I have ~100 miscers on my instagram. Once there is a solid footing, its time for some solid originals to happen and to try to grow.

I think we will make a valiant attempt at keeping misc 2.0 alive but it will eventually die in a matter of 3 weeks.

I don't want this to happen but I think it will.

Site is not even indexed by google yet, hopefully when miscers google "misc" this will be the first site to pop up in the future. Good job to whomever created the site and stuck to the misc name

Well this situation requires something incredibly stupid being done on somebody's part and posted here. Thats the only sure way to know this forum will survive.

I don't think this is all bad. Hopefully this will be the Misc 2.0 and doesn't turn to a craphole like the old one did.

How many great posters were banned for almost nothing? Then again some of the worst posters ever would never get banned. The spamming, You name it. It's like New York City where you have lunitics and idiots all over the place and crime happening right in front of you but an honest person j-walks and gets the book thrown at them.

The problem is that we may never get as many active users as bodybuilding.com's misc did (we may not get even 20-25%). People who didn't know about the misc will never see this message board or know of its existence, so there's no room for growth here
