There are exceptions to this rule. If someone (for example) makes a post promoting prostitution or sex trafficking, the person running this site can be on the hook (see FOSTA-SESTA, the law passed in 2018 to stop websites from functioning like Backpage).

I think the law is that the forum owner isn;t repsonsible for some crap a user posts, especially if they mitigate.

If the next Incel 'tard shows up here and starts talking about starting to shoot at sloots, so long as the post is deleted it should be fine.

Is that not the whole point of section 230, publisher vs platform? That if you remain neutral and dont editorialize that you are shielded from liability? Not knocking you btw, I/we are super thankful for you getting this together.

Perhaps there is some section of some law that protects me. But one would have to pay some dude $500/hr to go through it all and represent me. I'm not talking small claims BS
