Sad but true. If I didn’t save this link before we went down I never would’ve found this forum. I knew about Fires of ASSES crew where it looks like a handful of us scattered to. The rest are here and some are on Reddit, but anyone who was unaware of Kiop’s final thread will never find any of the alternatives. We’re still a dying gay Indian forum, just one that is community owned for the time being.

It's actually gone. I never believed it would actually leave.

I have all sorts of jokes I could make, but I'll make a serious one. Misc was a serious part of my life for more than 15 years. It's "home" of the internet to me, despite all the weirdness that happened there over the years. Nothing else compares, Facebook, Reddit, neither of those fill the gap that will be left here.

I'm so glad that some of you brahs are here, and glad you signed up on this backup forum. SmahtBrah, you just became King of the second best backup forum, it just got real for you.

I'm genuinely sad about this, and while it seems very unlikely, I'll hold out hope that they rebuild a forum again.

Until then, I'll bookmark this.

Like some other posters have said, my only worry is that we may not get organic new traffic here like the Misc did. If we wanted to consider some new forum with a name that might receive organic traffic, a lot of us (including myself) would help fund it. I believe in this.

If someone wants to take the initiative to make the best real forum replacement we can, do it. Ask for money, once you're shown real you'd probably get money. Hell, start selling supplements on it. What better way to overcome this sad time than to grow up as a supplement company and compete against BB.com? It doesn't have to be that way, my point is a forum could be valuable, somebody should do it.

Until then, I'm glad you're here, and RIP to the brahs who missed the post with this URL. Post this URL on Reddit to make others aware of it.

To be fair, the Misc didn't have even close to 20% of it's active users in 2020+ as prior to say 2014. It was insane back then. You would post a thread or reply and it would be on page 2 in less than a minute sometimes. Threads could get pages long in hours, sometimes in under an hour. Especially friday and saturnday nights because it's too busy in the gym and miscers are FA and don't have dates or a social life so they had nothing else to do. Companies didn't have as good internet firewalls so lots of Miscing at work. There were so many good posters, and lots of good content, was seriously entertaining to say the least and lots of LOL's were had. First post, they knew and you would get negged and not posting pics you got negged to oblivion, had to earn your greens. The Misc was more than a forum.

Could this get there? I doubt it will ever see peak misc numbers, but maybe keep things going. Enough people on here, it will show up and maybe get us in the searches and it could grow.
